The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Plus is a compact, broadcast quality recorder/player. The recorder, 1RU high, has 1/2 rack width and is AC powered and/or via an optional 12VDC supply. It features 6G-SDI input, HDMI 2.0 input, two 6G-SDI outputs and one HDMI 2.0 output; a loop-through output and 3G-SDI monitor output, as well as reference and timecode inputs and outputs. Two SD card slots allow recording for virtually unlimited time and it also supports recording to USB disks via the USB-C port. The HyperDeck Studio HD Plus features a front panel with large professional knobs and a jog/shuttle wheel for an analog searching feel. Control of the unit can be via RS-422, USB or via Ethernet at 1G speeds, which also allows file transfer. The built-in LCD display allows video monitoring.
